Project Summary
At Boardwalk Times, an independent entertainment publication focused on The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates, I held a multifaceted role that spanned editorial, social, and multimedia production. As a senior contributor and editor, I wrote timely news articles and feature stories, edited submissions from fellow writers, and upheld the site’s editorial standards through fact-checking and SEO optimization.
In this project, I also led podcast development as the producer and co-host of original series such as This is the Waycast and Multiverse of Marvel, collaborating with fellow hosts to script, record, and edit engaging episodes for Disney and Marvel fans. My responsibilities expanded into video production, where I created thought-provoking YouTube essays, including one on Disney’s WWII propaganda that has amassed over 55,000 views. I also designed logo assets for our original content series to maintain visual consistency across platforms.
On the social side, I oversaw content curation and strategy for Instagram and Facebook, strengthening community engagement and enhancing the brand’s digital footprint. I worked directly with the Editor-in-Chief to develop content strategies, provide voiceover support, and adapt to emerging editorial needs.
My work at Boardwalk Times showcased my versatility as a writer, editor, designer, and strategist—contributing to the platform’s growth and creative evolution across multiple channels.
